Hi, In the nearly seven years I've been at Vox, I've watched over and over as my colleagues take the most complicated issues — topics like ending plastic pollution, the response to homelessness in America, or the new science of meditation— and make them digestible without oversimplifying anything. It's an incredible skill, and it takes a lot of practice. That's part of the reason I'm so appreciative of every single person who has made a gift to Vox's contributions program. Our journalists have big ideas about the policies they want to dig in on, and thanks to contributors across the world, we can say yes to more of these projects. With the 2024 election cycle in full swing, we're looking to reach 85,000 total contributions to Vox by the end of 2023, to help keep Vox's journalism about policy and more free for everyone. To stay on pace to hit that goal, we need to add 2,500 contributions this month.
