The case of Rex Heuermann charged in the murders of several sex workers found on a Long Island beach more than a decade ago has drawn attention to the unsolved murders of sex workers elsewhere. There is no indication whether investigators suspect Heuermann in the killings of four women in New Jersey or in killings in Las Vegas, where Heuermann owns a timeshare, but law enforcement in Las Vegas have reportedly noted "similar circumstances" between the deaths of three women there and the Gilgo Beach murders. The cousin of a teenage sex worker found dead in Las Vegas 20 years ago is speaking out for the first time. Watch the exclusive interview on Cheddar News at 9 a.m. Eastern. |

The declining numbers of horseshoe crabs on the East Coast is a potential dilemma for the biomedical companies who use their blue blood to test for impurities in vaccines, IV drugs and prosthetics. Meanwhile, the decline in their eggs threatens the survival of the rufa red knot, a small shorebird that has lost 75% of its population since the 1980s. |

Actor and comedian Paul Reubens died at age 70 after a private six-year struggle with cancer, his publicist said. Pee-wee Herman, a character he created in the late 1970s, delighted children with his elfin silliness and, through several feature films and an Emmy-winning children's show, also maintained a cult following of adults by speaking to their inner oddball. |

You can keep hydrated even if you don't carry around one of those water bottles so big it has a handle. In fact, eating more fruits and vegetables can put a pretty big dent in the amount of water you should take in each day, said naturopath and nutrition expert Dr. Kellyann Petrucci. |
